Over and over again this ancient wisdom called Jyotisha impresses me. Here in this lunar mansion within the sign of Scorpio we have Anuradha. This is the gentle side of Scorpio that is aligned with depth of emotion, passion, commitment , devotion and co operation all done with love.

This is an important concept to fall back on as we learn over and over again from relationships that have turned to pain. We can only love another to the extent that we love ourselves. If we are deeply in love with ourselves ( an extremely difficult feat for the average adult) then we have that quality to give that to another.
We may try to shine that love onto another but find ourselves rejected because the ,’other’, does not love themselves , as much as they may mask that reality. Herein is where there can be imbalances.
Ideally we would adore our friends openly, which is why we choose them as friends.
This new moon is a time to reflect on the role that Friendship plays in our current situation.

Well. As much of my work revolves around this subject, I have distilled it down to this question,” Is he/she acting as your friend?” . There will only be a yes or no on this one. If your lover is not acting as a friend, it’s time to have a serious look at the relationship!

Too often one secretly believes they are better than another, so looks for subservience. This can work as long as the paradigm does not shift.
This is a very tricky sticky situation when one is taking money from another, so let’s face it, has so many conditions attached that it usually fails as true friendship.
Partners can turn out to be the best of friends if respect reigns so matter what.
FRIENDSHIP WITH YOUR KIDS
This is the reward of being a great parent and can be the most fulfilling of all types of friendships.
Alternatively I do believe that as souls we incarnate within families to learn our biggest and hardest lessons. The ultimate lesson is learn how to love yourself and invariably it comes down to forgiveness.
We are human and by nature make mistakes so need to learn to forgive.
FRIENDSHIP WITH FAMILY MEMBERS
Karma plays out in this zone. The key is to keep growing and don’t stop loving despite the fact that the other cannot and will not understand you. Compassion is a very high virtue.
